The Southern Shipping Services Container Terminal provides storage and handling facilities for reefer containers as well. The Reefer Terminal is well equipped with container plugging facilities and provides the factories with fully backed up logistical support. It has a full compliment of staff providing the requisite export and import shipping, clearing & forwarding formalities.

- Storage of Loaded and Empty Reefer Containers
- Plugging - The terminal has a capacity of 150 plugging points. Standby Generators are available to ensure continuous and uninterrupted supply of power
- Cold Storage - 1000 MT cold storage for palletized frozen foods
- Repair and Maintenance of Containers - Qualified service personnel are available to service, maintain and repair reefers and carry out routine checks.
- Transport - A fleet of 60 modern trucks ferrying containers across East and Central Africa.
- Stuffing and de-stuffing - is offered under special circumstances such as customer request or container malfunction. This work is being done under stringent hygiene standards.
