All Alpha Fine Food meat products are Halal - also known as Kosher. This means a broader target market can enjoy the company's quality products. Accreditations & Achievements

Alpha Fine Foods achieved the HACCP certification from Bureau Veritas International and Halal certification. The ongoing training for ISO 22000 will see the company receive the ISO 22000 certification by end of June 2008. These certifications will ensure good manufacturing practices, food safety and hygiene.

The Alpha Fine Foods brand was the first to introduce a range of frozen pre-portioned and pre-packed meat products in the retail market.

In the year 2007 the company was proud to have been accorded the conspicuous recognition of East Africa Superbrands Status 2007, as a result of its market dominance and customer loyalty, longevity, goodwill and acceptability.

AFFL also saw itself achieve the KEBS standardization mark a certification by Kenya Bureau of Standards and was accredited the certification in February 2008.

The standardization and certified marks of quality helps in maintaining customer's confidence and acceptability on the products.

The mark of quality was issued to the company as a guarantee for its locally manufactured products as they enter the market to demonstrate compliance with the approved standards.

AFFL is the first meat company in Kenya to be HACCP Certified Nov 2004 and the Ministry of Veterinary has approved the processing plant as PP1.
The company was awarded the 26th International Quality Award for food and beverages – New Millennium Award 2007, a gold trophy and a certificate as recognition for its trajectory and business excellence. Also, in the same event, the management of the company was awarded the Global Quality Management gold badge. The awards were presented to the company by the Trade Leaders Club and Editorial OFFICE in Madrid, Spain.
